Doug Smith

Vocals/Rhythm Guitar

Doug, a native Memphian hailing from the musically rich community of Frayser, cut his teeth on the sweet sound of Memphis soul. Influenced early on by The Beatles and The Monkees, he began as a bass player and served in the Trezevant High School Jazz Band; but ultimately, he just wanted to rock and roll.

Doug has played in Memphis and Chicago with THE AGENCY, THE BOUFFANTS, DUSTIN PARKER, and BLIND MELON CHITLLIN; he has now found his forever home with his best friends, and bandmates, in The Bugaloos
